DGA DIGITAL GROWTH ADVISORY

STRATEGIC DIAGNOSIS / SOUTH AFRICA

Find the constraint.
Then choose the investment.

Strategic business diagnosis for established businesses facing a consequential growth decision. Understand what is limiting progress before committing more budget to marketing, technology or execution.

Discuss your growth decision ↗

For owners, executives and marketing leaders. Based in Bloemfontein, serving businesses across South Africa.

When activity outpaces clarity.

Your business may already have campaigns, an agency, a sales team and several platforms. Yet it can still be difficult to explain which investment creates qualified demand, where enquiries lose momentum, or why results vary between branches and channels.

DGA’s Strategic Diagnosis starts with that commercial question. We bring digital growth strategy, a marketing effectiveness audit and the demand-to-sale journey into one review. The purpose is a defensible next decision, supported by the evidence available.

Who it is designed for

Established businesses with a meaningful investment decision, multiple moving parts and access to the people and records needed to investigate them.

  • Owners or leadership teams reviewing growth priorities.
  • Marketing and sales teams with unclear attribution or handovers.
  • Businesses with several branches, channels or customer segments.
  • Teams weighing additional spend, a new agency, automation or a platform change.

Commercial fit, decision value, data access and scope are discussed before a proposal. Business size alone does not establish fit.

Questions worth resolving

  • Are we attracting demand from the customers we can serve profitably?
  • What happens between an enquiry and a sale?
  • Where is marketing spend disconnected from commercial outcomes?
  • Which explanation for slow growth is supported by evidence?
  • What should we prioritise, test or measure before investing further?

Revenue growth consulting should help leaders choose what to do next. It starts with understanding the business, not assuming the answer is another campaign.

MAJOR CITIES / ONE CONNECTED APPROACH

Digital growth strategy for South Africa’s business centres.

We work with established businesses in Johannesburg and Sandton, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and Bloemfontein. DGA is based in Bloemfontein; these are service markets, not branch-office locations. We agree the working arrangements with you, using online discussions and an agreed approach to any site visits.

Johannesburg, Sandton and Pretoria

For a business with several teams or channels, the diagnosis can examine national demand, marketing investment and the handover from enquiries to sales together.

Cape Town

Where a business serves different customer segments or combines online and offline sales, we review the offer, customer journey and evidence needed to support its next investment.

Durban and Gqeberha

For businesses handling enquiries through branches, distributors or B2B sales, we can examine qualification, follow-up and visibility of sales outcomes.

Bloemfontein and the central region

Our home base connects local business context with a national perspective. Businesses considering new markets can first establish where their existing growth process needs attention.

The diagnosis follows your actual business model and decision. Location alone does not determine scope. We welcome growth and marketing enquiries in English or Afrikaans.

DIAGNOSIS BEFORE PRESCRIPTION

A considered scope, agreed with you.

  1. Understand the decision. Agree the business question, objectives, people involved and scope.
  2. Gather the information. Bring together relevant commercial information, campaign reports, enquiry records, sales outcomes and team input.
  3. Research the context. Investigate the market, competitors, customer journey and relevant best practices. Check sources and test their relevance.
  4. Evaluate the evidence. Compare explanations, identify constraints and assess commercial impact, effort, risk and measurement gaps.
  5. Recommend the priorities. Explain what to keep, improve, test or stop, with a practical action plan and measures of progress.
  6. Monitor and advise. Where ongoing support is agreed, review results against the starting point and adapt recommendations as new evidence emerges.

Deliverables, timing, fees and the depth of each workstream are confirmed in a written proposal. Implementation, campaign management and platform setup are separate decisions. No revenue increase, ranking or other commercial result is guaranteed.

How this connects to digital growth strategy

SEO, AI search optimisation, paid advertising, content, CRM and marketing automation may form part of the eventual plan. The diagnosis determines their role and sequence. It may also show that an offer, a qualification step or sales follow-up deserves attention before additional traffic.

That is DGA’s approach to marketing investment decisions: establish the constraint, connect responsibilities and define how progress will be assessed.
